Optimism. Hope.
Where does it come from?
It’s kinda a tough question right? I know. And honestly I’ve been thinking about it more lately for sure. So the timing was really something when I was contacted to share what I thought.
I was recently featured in an article by Bold Journey. I answered the question “Where do you think your optimism comes from?” among other questions. I shared some really personal stories and struggles I’ve had, how I think I’ve grown as a person through them, and how I feel maybe a little more hopeful because of it.
To me, storytelling is one of our greatest gifts for learning more about ourselves and others. To find ways to relate to the common human experience, no matter if at times we may feel alone. To connect to each other and reach out to whoever will listen.
We all have stories to tell. I’m so grateful to be able to share a few of my own. Thank you so much for being here, reading and listening.
